Cinema under the stars — what could be more “summer in Los Angeles” than that?
Now in its sixth season, Street Food Cinema once again infiltrates LA, bringing film, food, and fun for all. SFC is more than just movies; it’s an all-evening experience featuring acceletic outdoor screenings, picnic-ready food trucks, live music from established and emerging artists, interactive games, and more!
Launched in 2012, Street Food Cinema is now in three cities — Phoenix, San Diego, and Los Angeles — and wants to reinvent the way we watch movies, curating it’s celebrations to harken back to the heyday of Hollywood (outdoor “drive-in” movies first burst onto the scene in the 1930s).
All summer long you can find SFC events every Saturday in area state parks:
- Glendale Central Park, Glendale
- Brand Library Park, Glendale
- Poinsettia Recreation Park, West Hollywood
- LA Historic State Park, DTLA
- Griffith Park, Los Feliz
- Exposition Park, DTLA
- Eagle Rock Recreation Park, Eagle Rock
- Syd Kronenthal Park, Culver City
- Will Roger State Park, Pacific Palisades
- Victoria Park, Pasadena
This weekend, on Saturday, July 29th, wander on over to West Hollywood to what (what else?) Wanye’s World, now celebrating its 25th Anniversary. Party time, excellent!
See you at the movies!
